I never wanted to leave my house in Taiwan during the summers until the sun went down.
Sadly I had no choice but to be outside in the sun, commuting to work...

You can get there via one of the exits via the Taipei Main Station MRT station (it's right next to the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store)
Otherwise there is another electronics marketplace but the name and location is eluding me right now.

Unless you went like clubbing, in which those are all ABC from like Cali so obviously they'd be wearing the western styles.

正妹 is slang for hot chicks. Nothing to do with prostitution. In fact most 正妹 in Taiwan are super prude and hard to get close to LOL

美女 is being so overused... I feel like it's become a problem.. LOL..
Because 90% of those who we use the term upon ARE NOT pretty - at - all...
For example.. EVERY female service attendant is 美女...
and if anyone wants anything from any female in mainland it's 美女 this, 美女 that..
正 :
In this case has the same connotation as Model in model-citizen.
A standard for which all -object of the following category- will be judged against...
妹 :
The typical moniker for young, youthful females, usually (unwed)..
now.. as far as prostitutes go.. technically this definition isn't exclusive enough to exclude them..
and you WOULD actually find many men describing their night-escapades using that term...
In asia... because of the high people density EVERYWHERE... you see many many pretty girls...
Although for me personally.. I don't like asia because precisely 0 girls have bottom..
It's just a no go for me for the most part..
THIS excludes the Philippines.. they're great over there..

I was there, in my baggy pants and fitted Shirt.. Apparently All my cousins said I looked like the hooligans they put on TV..
So, one of my cousin's GF hands me my glasses, and they're like.. ah yes, the casual library goer..
This whole summer, 3 month of asia with a month of US in between I wore my glasses the entire time..

Lol... I think just being well dressed and clean looking helps more than anything. Also helps to be socially aware and interesting.
Source: Studied at HKU for a year (had to politely decline more ladies' confessions than I have fingers to count) and worked in Taiwan for two years (same thing here).
Nothing to do with my being an American either because I speak perfect Taiwanese Mandarin (no one believes I'm an ABC until I take out my passport to show them).

Yea.. that 's what they want you to think..
Women are highly deceptive creatures in general, and they never show-hand..
You probably don't think much about being Murican, but over there in a highly crowded and homogenous society.. Things such as upward mobility is VERY difficult.. which is why so many people want to LEAVE..
As a female, even if you are "especially dedicated to your craft, be it academic or arts" your actual worth is still very much down to how pretty you are..
Because there is always 999 super ugly chick with higher test scores than you..
and there's also 1001 super ugly dudes with SIGNIFICANTLY higher test scores than you

No, that is what they thought. I used my 台灣身分證 to get my job in Taiwan and even my boss didn't know I was from the US until my first paycheck and I didn't have a Taiwanese bank account to collect the payment.
You make a claim as if you know me and can pass judgment on my ability to not stick out like a sore thumb in Asia, but just so you know, there are members of the Asian diaspora that speak their 母語 as well as if not better than the official language of the country of their birth (in my case, English, as I was born in the US) and prefer not to be a walking Western billboard to attract unwanted attention.
Also, your general statements about upward mobility might very well be true (and indeed, I have no proof to invalidate them) but they don't make sense when applied to my own experiences where most of the girls I have had these experiences with easily tripled or quadrupled my meager salary and already had green cards or visas to reside in Western countries.
I don't know what kind of "chicas" you're trying to pick up (certainly a different group than I have experience with) but most of the ones I've had encounters with abroad were educated at some of the best universities in Asia and in the world (HKU, SNU, NTU, NUS, Oxford, Cambridge, Yale etc...) and already have all the upward mobility they want.
I don't see what kind of upward mobility they can gain by latching onto the poor and lesser educated American born Taiwanese guy. Oh right, and there's also the fact that half of them weren't even Asian (British, Scottish, French, German, etc). Last I checked, UK girls jumping at US guys for green cards wasn't a thing. :p
Maybe next time I'm in Asia, I'll consider putting on some baggy clothes and glasses but for now I'm content. If girls can latch onto guys for upward mobility in society, then the reverse is certainly true too - maybe I'll aim for a smart and sexy Oxford lawyer next time
In that case... I misunderstood your post.wat

Maybe you're just ugly or your GF is really hot.
Some of us just don't have that luxury!

Why can't it be both?
I could be really ugly but have a super hot GF (which would make sense if I was super rich or famous)!
(or I could have just been faithful and in a steady, long term relationship not worth ruining over a few nights of fun )

Damn, what is this thread heading to? Anyways, any more keyboard shops? Would anyone recommend keyboard king and army group?
do you have no friends or anyone you can ask around? at the very least the locals should know the go-to place for electronics/computers.

keyboard king's place is like closed half the time lol.
Army group is cool, but honestly what are you looking for? army group doesn't stock ducky, keyboard king doesn't stock ducky.
On the main road there's like 2 places that sell ducky/filcos/etc.
off the main road across from the main guanghua building has a small shop that sells ducky/razer/thermaltake/etc.
If you're looking for like custom KBs or a wide variety of kbs, you're not gonna really find them in Taiwan.
Just like you won't really find keyboard caps sets really in Taiwan too. I've asked around and mainly noone bothers changing caps in Taiwan lol. IF anything they just use like the replacement Filco caps if they need to.

Not really. :-( Still in Taichung (going taipei tmrw) so I thought I can get some names of places first,

Nonsense, a lot of girls in Singapore have huge bottoms. Nearly all are Indian or Malay, so they'll be darker than you.
