I've seen some keycap sets that come with a plastic or cardboard tray that holds all the keycaps in place (I think WASD does this).
I'd like to get some trays of that sort for storage and display purposes, but I haven't seen any place that sells them on their own.
Have you seen them for sale somewhere?

Thanks, thats exactly what I'm looking for.
If anyone knows of any alternatives that'd be great to see too.

Gas Mask Keycap also used to sell them, but since he switched to become Hot Keys Project I don't know if they are continuing.

Those trays look really cool, I might have to get one myself.
If you were interested in making your own designs (like if you just wanted to display a small collection of keycaps or something other than the full qwerty set) there are places that do pretty good cheap laser cutting like this: http://www.razorlab.co.uk/
You could make your own tray design and have it cut for you.

Just need to be creative if wanna save some money. I use fridge food trays.

That's a good resource either way, I'll keep it in mind, thank you.

I'm currently using amazon boxes and scotch tape, the boxes are oversized for the purpose and tape doesn't work well. I'd need to do some serious surgery on the boxes and get some carpet tape to make it work for real. I still might do that.

Someone tried to steal mine, I found my package outside all ripped up. I guess when they got it open and saw nothing but foam they got confused and left it. :p
