Title: Where do I find Nordic ISO PBT caps...
Post by: Gahrlaag on Tue, 09 December 2014, 03:08:38
That aren't blank or engraved, prefferably black or white dyesubed...?! I've literally searched everywhere I can think of with no result.

It's not really a product that is readily available unfortunately. Ducky Nordic gets some produced once in a while so be on the lookout there.

Already tried teraset...

"Hi!
I'm wondering if you have the Ducky thick PBT 109 keycap set Cream Cheese & Green Nordic dyesub in stock, and how much the price is incl shipping to Sweden?
Im guessing the layout is the same for all nordic countries?

Non-blank or engraved was the problem, the rest are there, I know.

Your best bet would be to hunt for old typewriter from TA/Royal/Hermes/Olivetti that had Cherry MY or MX switch. These models come with nice dyesub PBT mostly, but some do have doubleshots instead. Known to exist with green, brown, grey and blue legends which seem to be most common. I have seen them in Swedish and Danish. You won't get full coverage on a modern keyboard out of them, but certainly worth it for the alpha numerics.

Ducky used to have some dyesub PBT sets available (like this set: http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/21916/dsssg/Ducky-thick-PBT-109-G-W-nordic-dyesub-nappainhattusetti), but it looks like they're not in stock any more anywhere and I take it you don't want to have to buy a whole Ducky Premier just for the caps.

The usual places to look for Ducky Nordic products are Teraset.net, jimms.fi and verkkokauppa.com.

Yeah, that seems to be the case yes..
Guess I'll just have to wait or raid my dads used electronics firms warehouse for old typewriters :D
After all, I have found like 30 model M's and some other miscellaneous things there..
