it sucks because i have really been wanting one of these for awhile now and this one is 1 month off from my date of birth.

Prices on these are a roller coaster. There are price spikes every year or so. 2-3 years ago when I really wanted one, they were way high and I paid $140 + shipping.
A few months later they were down in the $90 range.
Personally, I would consider <$100 a good price and >$150 excessive, but they have sold in the $200 range recently.
