Title: Hello from Australia!
Post by: blogpop on Sat, 13 December 2014, 00:19:17
G'day everyone!

I've been stalking this forum for a little while and I've finally decided to register and begin contributing to discussions and posts.

For the past few years I've been using a Corsair K60 (Cherry MX Reds), and just recently bought a Ducky Shine 3 White Edition (Blues) and my first keyset, the Cherry Replica set from Techkeys.

I look forward to chatting with y'all and jumping into group buys! :)

Welcome to Geekhack!

The Cherry Replica set was quite a breakthrough when it was finally finished.  My set is still on my Ducky Shine (a special set on a special keyboard).

Thanks for the welcome!

I was actually considering the Vortex PBT Bi-Colour Orange set, but I thought I'd make the most of the 'Shine' of this keyboard.

These keys feel so much better than I thought they would, with a powdery, textured feel to them.

You can get some underglow from the LEDs if you have thicker keycaps and turn the brightness up, but using them as intended feels better, to me anyway.
