my Scorpius M10 will be arriving on August 5th (first mechanical keyboard i will be knowingly using) and I want blank keys without the nubs or scoops on the f and j.
-
i thought i read something about them not fitting on the scorpius.

The modifier keys won't fit, but the alphanumeric characters, and the Windows keys should be easily replaceable. $30 is a bit much for me to get on for my M10, though.

What's so bad about the nubs?

i just don't need them. they only bother me. i can place my hands down from a foot in the air without looking and it will always be in the right spot.
-
I can do that too.

well ur blind so yeah it's kind of hard to look even if you wanted to.

The video explains what a Nubian is.
That part of the term does not apply if you have a beige keyboard.
-
What about a formerly beige keyboard?

Well then, it's time for a new keyboard.
Or a good, hard scrub with a Brillo pad.
-
the macally MK96 has the nubs on D and K although that's an alps board
-
P.S. I would like to point out that the technical term for the nubs is Nubile, Nubian, Nubblie, Nubbly Nubs. The video explains what a Nubian is.
I married a Nubian queen, unlike our friend here I'm quite happy with her F and J.
I wouldn't like blank keys there for sure even if I can always find them in the dark.

Nice pic! I like that you put "Nubian" in the file name.
Replaced her name with it... Also used a pic with no face, to keep it anonymous.

"filco blue cherry" still gives me this as the #1 hit. Google needs to hire some new mathematicians.
Holly molly. I thought you were kidding, but couldn't resist trying.
IT IS INDEED THE FIRST ON THE LIST!!!
-
no doubt because of your use of inane pics in every thread lol

Back to the F & J nipple issue.
I don’t know how deep the color in the meterial goes.
I wonder if a light touch of dremel with a soft tip would affect the color.
Do the AZERTY boards have the same F & J markings?
(I just looked at the layout. Same position, so probably Nubiannated as well)

on such a small surface, the difference is not going to be obvious.
