Title: JD40 Layout discussion.
Post by: Melvang on Sun, 14 December 2014, 01:03:45
So I have had my JD40 for a while know and while I really like this tiny thing there were some slight issues that were really bugging me with the layout.  The biggest thing that was bugging me was the location of the Fn key and the low right corner.  Particularly the location of comma, period, and the question mark.  Also, after using this for a while I find myself really having a lot of keystroke errors when looking for the period on a standard layouts, the laptop mostly.  So this is what I am currently trying.

So far the biggest thing I am having to deal with is still having the space bar held down and hitting other keys.  With the one being the biggest issue is accidentally hitting F5 while typing a post and reloading the page hence losing all effort.

What are you guys using and how is it working for you?

I quite like the look of the function layer! I will have to try it out when I get my Smallfry!  :)
