Title: Greetings from Chuck Baggett
Post by: ChuckBaggett on Sun, 21 December 2014, 05:07:44
Reading earlier about someone with a Model M I started thinking about the Reveal keyboard I used to use at work in the 1990s. It was a wonderful tactile keyboard. I think it had Alps white switches, thought I'm not sure. I can't find any comprehensive list of Reveal Computer Products keyboard models, though.

While looking tonight I was reminded that I also used a Focus 2001, which was also a nice tactile kb.

I have a Model M, but it seems a bit stiff, like maybe it needs oiling or cleaning or something.

Does anyone know of a list of the Reveal Computer Products keyboard model numbers?

Welcome to Geekhack!

Your Model M might be in need of a bolt mod.

Not sure about the Reveal keyboards though.

Sorry I cant remember all the models. I was a product manager at Reveal.
The keyboard were from Lite On the manufacturer were based in Taiwan. The company there was Siltek.
I am also looking for an old keyboard like that. The term back then was chiclety, but now everyone wants quiet keyboards.
