Title: 60% Alu Cases on Massdrop - Any Good?
Post by: Defect on Sun, 21 December 2014, 13:18:34
Are these 60% Aluminimum Cases (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/60-keyboard-case) on Massdrop any good?  How do they compare to Vortex or Tex?

Shameless Referral Link if any of you plan to buy :) removed

Thanks for the info!  Anyone know how these compare vs Tex and Vortex?  I saw MD had some Vortex cases for 60 bucks, and Tex is like 120 or so.  These qtan ones are 90 ish.  Wondering if that pricing is fair?

Yeah, the cases are pretty well made and feel very sturdy. And BTW referral links aren't allowed

Would be a good time to design your own plate. Just take width, height, depth, radius of fillet, distance on x and y of two holes. Shouldn't cost too much to have cut and engraved a custom weight/plate
