I got my son a new T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 for his birthday (also his sister and me on the same account) and cancelled our subscription with the Satan-certified-direct-from-Hell Sprint.
Can he retrieve his text message history from his old S3 now that we are already ported over?
Thanks!

I think SMS Backup & Restore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore&hl=en) will work.

I have no idea. You should turn to a company or something. For example, I always call https://www.familyorbit.com/blog/recover-deleted-text-messages-iphone/, especially after I took the girl's first phone call. I said that until the age of 13-15, we would monitor her so that we know concretely where she is and what she is doing. I don't want to sound too harsh, but now there are too many cases of children being abducted, so it's better for me to know where she is than to call her constantly and tease her with messages. If something is not clear to me, I call the company, and they explain to me, even if it is not related to their specialty.

Same one I use. Works great.
