Title: Ziotek Blue Cube @ Cyberguys - not what I expected
Post by: chubbyfatazn on Tue, 23 December 2014, 23:40:36
I'm not sure where this belongs, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Last week the Blue Cubes (http://www.amazon.com/Ziotek-PS2-Keyboard-USB-Adapter/dp/B000BSJFJS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419398409&sr=8-1&keywords=blue+cube+ziotek) came back in stock at Amazon (sold by Cyberguys), and I ordered two of them.

Package came today, got these instead:

Which look exactly like these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G7WYZG/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A38M5MWFO1KP4F). Reviews look alright, it has two ports, and the form factor is better, so I'll probably keep them, but my point is - don't order a Blue Cube right now from Cyberguys and expect to get a blue cube-shaped adapter.

Edit: typing this edit out on my Model M right now, adapter works just fine.

it looks a lot cuter than before  :p

think the new design is definitely an improvement. the old form factor was harder to use and more clunky

If you paid Bluecube price for those adapters, you saved about $4 off their marked price...
