They have kailh switches but at $25 USD you can't really complain, low enough price that you could convince your rubber dome friends to give mechs a try.

This is dirt cheap!
Only earlier today I was trying to convince someone from the Netherlands to buy a kailh keycool and do a switch teardown for everyone. Now at $25, even I want to be the guy doing that teardown. Besides, that looks suspiciously like a Filco imitation casing, so it might be compatible with Phantom PCBs for you modders out there.

Yeah I'll definitely be purchasing a keyboard or two when I get money in the bank, if it's all good I'll probably replace the switches with some spare cherrys I have laying around and some keycaps. A controller swap wouldn't be too hard either, just take out the pcb and handwire from the plate for some custom function layers, you could probably have a custom layout keyboard for under $100 starting from the $25 base.

just a public notice. I tried to buy and the system said it was not available. Don't know if fanatically buying geekhackers caused it to go out of stock, or whether the pricing was wrong and the seller mislisted.

Just ordered two of them.
I don't get it though...am I getting a TKL board or a full size?
-
I'm not too sure, the storefront isn't very clear, when I order them I think you can put a comment into the order I'll just write in whatever model I want to purchase like 'Titon80' or 'TIton100' or something like that. May not work but worth a try.
-
I think I'll get at least one as a potential modding base. Hopefully I can get them to send me a TKL with blues, but I'm not sure if you can choose the switch type or the layout.
Found a typing video of it, in case anyone is interested: Sounds a bit strange, but that could just be the audio quality.

Price has been changed to 50USD unfortunately

Ah well, I was pondering whether or not to buy one all day but I guess it's not as worth it now. Still a good deal.

Hope to hear from people about the teardown and review.

I could take a crack at it. My Siig Suntouch Jr review didn't get much attention though. I think my reviews are boring.

Nah, it has to do with the fact that most people really don't care a lot about the Siig. But everyone wants to hear more about kailh switches. In particular I think we need people who can photograph really well to take close ups and compare with Cherry stems, as well as people to test the quality of the switch housings. I suspect they save money by using copper instead of gold plating on the leafs, making their stuff more corrosion prone, but of course we need real engineers to figure that out.

Well I have two unused Data911 (one is a switch tester), bunch of extra browns, blues, clears, blacks, and a couple whites. Have tons of springs and also Sprit springs. And lube...different keycaps. Camera is decent...recently tried taking macro photo (http://m.imgur.com/a/LCV9w)s but I need a better lighting setup.
I can compare this board vs Ducky, Choc Mini, KC 84, and some customs. Also have a QF Stealth Im working on.

Ah shoot, not worth it for me anymore. I have too much stuff that I need to do to my car to gamble on a knockoff board that may or may not be decent. :P

Seller bailed.
Guess its time to lurk classifieds...
-
Seller bailed? He cancelled your order?

Yup. Failed to ship by deadline and I guess no response in general. So...gotta make sure I have my money back and off to find more beater boards to destroy.
