Alright guys I am stepping into the ring for keycap group buys. I will NOT be doing this through PMK. This will be personally handled by myself and the wife, Alexiss. I will be the point of contact for this group buy.

Profile and colors

This will be DSA double shot with RDA for the purple and looking at NN for the black.

Yes I realize that this is just a reverse of BL's broset. I have spoken with him and I have his blessing with this. This image will be the base set as well.

More pics to follow most likely as I get stuff sorted out for layouts and kits to be offered.

Kits
I am planning on having 1.5 mods with 7x space bar included in the base set. The \ and ` keys will be offered in both colors as well as the F5 through F8 in both colors for the symmetrical and traditional look. I don't what to have TONS of kits so ISO will probably be bundled with 1800 kit, JD40 might be bundled with planck, and I am planning on bundling Ergo Dox and GH36 kits.

Included in the base set will be extra homing keys for Dvorak and Colemak. This is the major reason for the DSA profile so I don't have to offer essentially a full set to support those alternate layouts as I believe those are the most popular layouts outside of Qwerty and other language layouts.

I will leave discussion open for kit combinations, along with legends needed for GH36, Ergo Dox, JD40, other layouts that might be popular enough with few enough keys to bundle with other kits. This is also a reason for DSA to minimize keys needed due to profile differences between rows.

Pricing
Right now I have zero clue where the costs will be, as I have not spoken with SP yet. I wanted to get a feel for interest on kits and such before talking with them.

Payments will be via paypal.

Any info on sizes for Edox, would be great. I have a single GH36 and a JD40 at my disposal so cap sizes for those isn't to much of an issue. I just don't have an ergo dox for cap sizes. It looks like 6 2 unit and 15 keys in either 1.25 or 1.5. Which size would apply for the Edox?

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to handle the GB in the "traditional" way as opposed to PMK?

I just feel like I would rather have that personal touch with the group buy instead of just saying "Here PMK, I want this set." Ok I am done, then sit back and wait.

Correct me if I am wrong but this is for the 1800 kit? If yes then yes. I do plan on having a lot of compatibility with this GB. The plan is for fewer kits lumped together where they make sense. Like lumping GH36 with Ergo Dox, and possibly JD40 with 1800.

This was another question I was going to have.

I need lists for sizes and legends needed for kits for some other keyboards such as 1800 kit, ISO, and others. I am thinking of adding an option for the Planck or whatever it is called along with the other from the same group of guys. Also debating on lumping a kit for JD40 and JD45 together.

Can I get some suggestions and comments on this please?

Question for you guys.

Would you rather do a GB in the ABS colorway listed above which is a copy of the bro set but reversed, or a PBT dyesubbed set in these colors?

The colors are a bit more subtle which I think I like a bit better. Plus with SP having the capability to do PBT space bars in DSA profile, I think that will be a plus. The biggest downside to DSA I can think of is they do not have a mold for DSA ISO enter. However, I have read that DCS ISO enter is close enough to satisfy most people. If anyone can report back on this that would be great.

The flip side of this is legends. How would I go about specifying legends, using someone else's IP, go with blanks for my first key cap GB, etc.

If you guys could chime in and provide some input on thoughts here that would be great.
