Title: Industrial Model F XT?
Post by: faceyourfaces on Sun, 28 December 2014, 16:21:35
While Industrial Model Ms and SSKs are rare enough to begin with, I have not seen even one of the Industrial Model F XTs anywhere on here. Is anyone familiar with them?

I seem to remember one on eBay a while back.

That does look like a buckling spring industrial model f. I know that there are OAK switch industrial model f keyboards that seem more common perhaps, and they are easy to spot because their keycaps are different than standard buckling spring caps.

It would be awesome if the case top was metal.

Yeah, there was just an EMR edition model f on ebay recently but the top wasn't metal and the seller claims no EMR editions are all metal. (Although I have seen EMR editions with the paint chipped off which shows they are metal)

In the picture showing close up of function keys, looks like there is a small scratch in the case top.  The scratch looks silver.  Perhaps this portends a metal case top?
