No way! Finally!!!!!!
It was there a week or two ago, I was contemplating buying one but I don't have enough in the budget right now :'(
-
I jumped on one... not much thought was given, but hopefully it was a good decision

It was, they're awesome numberpads, and a very nice compliment to the HHKB. Very reasonable price too, I think even lower than what they were listed at a year or so ago.

Thanks for the assurance! hehe :D my thoughts exactly, I thought I could use some extra keys next to a small-form, and the price seemed much better than I've ever seen.

Don't have to pay expensive Japanese or Australian shipping. Low price. You made a good purchase!

Thanks Dustin! :)
It's a bit scary dropping some big price tags as someone who only got into kbing recently,
but at least this buy is my end-all buy as far as numpads go :)

Yawn. Why bother? If you need a numpad just use a different board.

I guess some prefer having the mouse closer to the board and having a separate numpad seems like an appealing idea (if you need it for data entry from time to time). Also, if you like a certain board that only comes in a smaller form, then it may be the only option.
Aesthetics wise it looks great too. That's just how I see it anyway.

I suppose. I've never been overly concerned with the aesthetics of keyboards (I happily use a yellow AEK), and while it could be sour grapes considering I just bought my HHKB a couple of weeks ago (shipping to Canada is brutal, it was $50), I just don't see this as being with anywhere near what they're charging. Where you're in a position that you know you'll do lots of data input I think a full sized keyboard would make more sense since you'll probably hardly use the mouse anyway and where you're not you won't need one at all.

you're welcome! They were discontinued for the longest time. People would have to trade clacks or pay $300+ to get them. Then they appeared across seas. I almost bought one internationally multiple times. I cant believe EK has them! :thumb:

Yeah. It's hard to justify the cost or the need for it -
If enjoyment is justification enough and it doesn't hurt my wallet too much, it's fine by me :)

Ohh..!! I didn't realize they were hard to come by. I guess this signals an official return which is great :D
I was pleasantly surprised when EK newsletter featured this product.

This is a great find simply due to the fact that these have been out of stock and scarce to find for quite a while. It doesn't really matter if you personally don't see a use for it, as there are people who have been trying without success to get one for some time. This isn't a sales pitch, it's a heads up to those who have been searching high and low for one.

I can see how they would be nice if you bought a TKL Topre and wanted the numpad on the left side of the board. They also seem to be a very popular stage for artisan key photographs ;)
