Title: Help with art for tattoo? Picture inside
Post by: nubbinator on Sat, 03 January 2015, 22:20:04
So I absolutely suck at drawing.  It's just a fact that I've come to live with.  Unfortunately, it also means that when I see something I want made into a tattoo, it makes it hard for me to do the art.

This is a sculpture my sister made a while ago.  Ever since I saw it, I wanted to get it made into a tattoo.  Ideally it would be sitting on a tree branch.  I'm not sure If I'd want the leaves behind it like the sculpture, if they should be feathers, or just stick with the skeleton and a wash behind it.  If you have any drawing talent and want to help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'll ask my girlfriend if it's a project she'd be interested in.

Kind of sharp.  Would not recommend unless you're into intestinal laceration.

If they're a good tattoo artist they should be able to draw that for you. I have my artist draw everything.

So i asked my GF and this is what she said, "i could try, but he would be much better off getting an actual tattoo artist to do it up for him.  That way he can see if the artists style is to his liking for the tattoo, since even when an artist is copying something the style always comes through so its quite important."

So yeah, let me know.
