Hey everyone. I got my first mechanical keyboard not too long ago and I'm having some issue. I'm not sure if any of you might know what it is. It started yesterday, one of my friend used my computer and said that my keyboard was doing some weird stuff. I tried and here what it does. You will press a key like "y" and it will take 1 second to register or won't register at all. And then some time you would press "y" once and you would get 15 "y" in a row.
I tried to restart the computer, I unplugged the keyboard, and reconnected it and I also did a return to factory settings on the keyboard. It looks like it helped, then this morning I was trying to do my banking online and some keys would not register again. I did a reset of the keyboard again and now I was able to type this post without any issues. Do you guys know what it could be? Thanks

It MIGHT have to do with the repeat/acceleration function of the keyboard. If you read the manual, its the fn+f1~f8 function. If it happens again try to turn that function into default settings by hitting fn+f1 and fn+f5. If thats not the case Im not too sure whats causing the problem and hopefully someone else can help out.
Goodluck!

Yeah that's what I was thinking at first, that my friend changed the repeat settings by mistake. When I look she did have it on default. So I did fn+F2 and fn+F6, then brought it back to the default F1 and F5, and it was still the same thing. That when I did a factory reset by holding the 2 windows key for 3 seconds.

And still broken?
Maybe somehow Control Panel settings have become changed?
Can you try this keyboard on a different computer?

I think I might have solved the issue. I was still having issue this morning and was going to type reply to my post and my keys would keep repeating or not registering. Just before I sent the reply I looked online in case there is a setting I didn't know about. When I was reading it was talking about keyloggers that could cause this type of issue and got me thinking. My keyboard was connected to a USB extension. I plugged the keyboard directly into the computer and the issue seams to be resolved for now.
Lets hope it stays that way. :)

Ah - the missing piece of the puzzle!
Congratulations on finding a solution, and thank you for posting about it :)

Well, no more issues, everything has been find for the past 3 days, looks like the USB extension was the problem. Thanks to everyone that tried to help and I hope that this can help someone else in the future. :)
