Is a Keytronics LT-5000 (AFAIK dome with sliders over membranes, but supossedly really good feeling membranes, and nice profile keycaps) worth picking up for around $5, maybe around $4 (USD)?

I really doubt that you'll find any buyers for it, so only buy it if it's worth it to you.
I've got a couple of the variable weight keytronic rubber domes and they're pretty nice for rubber dome boards. They're still rubber dome, though, and I never use them.

They are okay for what they are. As long as it works and is alive. (that's the key). If it doesn't have life in it, you really will know when you type with it, and miss letters or the keys stick. For 4 bucks, if it's alive yes.

I used one to practice dying keycaps with. It actually felt very good to type on for a rubber dome.

I used only Key Tronic before I went with mechanical. I don't know specifically about the LT-5000 as I don't think were ever got their model over here. They stopped being imported ten years ago.
Most rubber dome keyboards lose their tactility and get more mushy with time - Key Tronic tend to feel better than most others and keep their feel for many years. There are exceptions, though.

Thanks for your replies :) I'll be definitely be picking up that Keytronics, for what's it worth it's not big money :p
What do you guys think about this one? It's a Siemens Nixdorf, I asked the guy to take a picture of the back, probably rubber domes, but maybe decent ones? Anyways I kinda like it for the collectible value due to the keycap shape
This one is a little more expensive (around 12-15) and it says MADE IN GERMANY, but maybe I can fight over that price :))

Definitely good as new, just some dust.
EDIT: found one nearly the same, but with windows keys and branding on the opposite side:

I'd get that just because its so unique and rare. It might even feel good to type on.

I want to get it as well, mostly for collection purposes but I'm in a budget and he's not going lower than $10.
(I know $10 sounds like little but here a dollar is expensive so the conversion isn't too realistic)
