Title: [eBay] Samsung UN65H7150
Post by: inanis on Wed, 07 January 2015, 10:21:28
I am highly skeptical of this, but there is a Samsung UN65H7150 listed on eBay at Buy it Now for $220 shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/131397749008 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/131397749008). Currently 2 available. The same TV is listed on Amazon at $2197.

Thought I would post this here on the off chance it is legit.

That's how I feel about it...

...but god damn what if it's legit :-\

I feel like the "Free Shipping" sort of kills the legitimacy. Wouldn't shipping a TV like that would cost a lot? Like $100+?

~47lb package

Also the account hasn't had any feedback posted for over a year, possibly stolen account?

Oh here is another for $198

Maybe they fell of the back of a truck. I certainly wouldn't touch that auction.

Doing a little searching there are a few other identical auctions from different members with low feedback numbers all in different locations.

The feedback is most suspicious. So many people who did business with him before have gone out of business a long time ago.

Methinks he started that account and did some honest transactions, then waited to scam lots of people in one shot.

But that said, how does he hope to get away with a scam? Isn't Ebay and paypal really good at catching and refunding? Or is he basically hoping to get a bunch of credit card numbers and addresses for future scams, so he doesn't care if this scam is defeated?
