Do these send proper numpad codes? And are they PCB or plate mounted?

Can't answer the 1st but they most likely are plate mounted considering the similarity of genovation's keypads.

Not the exact same one but you can clearly see they reuse a whole lot of stuff in their offerings.

I received mine today. They are indeed cherry MX black switches and all keys work as normal - used Switch Hitter to test. The switches are upside down, I'm not sure how unusual that is, but maybe worth mentioning.

Still, a nice deal for ~$12 shipped.

Bought one for when I'm rocking a TKL because WTF: at $12 shipped this is like an insanely good deal compared to all the rubber dome crap you can buy new.

I bought one too, even though the black is my least favorite Cherry switch. Maybe I will find 21 greens or clears sometime.

I had a couple of outboard numpads but I sold one and now the Enter is not working on the other (rubber dome).

None of this will be necessary until someday when I give up my aircraft-carrier-sized boards!


edit - Arrived today, very nice, but caps are a bit lame. Pad printing is wearing off the Enter.
