Title: Odd Rubberdome Unicomp rebranded.

I got this in one of these in a lot of other model Ms, its obviously a re-branded Unicomp, and its the rubber-dome version of the M, so its not worth anything to me, but I thought it was odd that they printed the F1-24 on a single row of keys, and it also shares the split (+) button like a terminal board, but it is a regular PS/2 keyboard (and works like one, I tested it)

I threw it up on flea-bay with a starting bid of $5 because I just want to get rid of it since i can't really use it. I thought it was weird, and i can see the obvious quality differences between this and the older IBM model Ms.

here is the label:

Now that is interesting.

It's not exactly rebranded since it still got the Unicomp label.
As I recall, they did make few special runs with "custom" labeling on the cover. That "IO" logo doesn't ring any bell though.

Even though the picture doesn't match, this has the same part number (58.002) as this board:

Looks like maybe they were a custom job like you said.

I've never seen those.  Pretty unique.

Bummer.  Just curious, was this in the lot of 11 you bought on Ebay?

Yeah it was. I was disappointed to find a rubber dome in the lot. The silver label (of course it had to be that one) was also busted up pretty bad when it got to me, (top and bottom case broken badly at the corner) the rest are in decent shape and will be converted and bolt modded, ANSI converted (most of them) and have internal Soarers installed.
