Doubleshot. The side text is printed though and does wear off.

That would be my second guess. But yes, they look very nice. I wish they would make them still today. That keyboard looks pretty nice to type on.
Edit: Put that on a 101 key layout, and I'm sold! *chuckle* Does anyone have this keyboard to actually verify this? I am really curious!
Yeah too good to be true! They look really nice. Do you know if they are double shot or engraved keys? Are you trolling?

Selectric keys were engraved
Let's see. How about a picture of a Selectric Blue with engraved keys? I'm not doubting anything. My guess is the white keys are dye-subliminated and the black keys are engraved, or they all are engraved. I'm no authority on this particular subject, but the discreet points on the keys themselves makes me wonder because doubleshot printing is usually curved and not sharp and pointed. But then again, it is an IBM, and they may have made extremely precise doubleshot methods. That's all. I'm not doubting anyone. I want to know myself.Selectric keys were engraved

OP is not a typewriter. As has been pointed out already, it is a beamspring keyboard.
This pic shows Selectric double shots:Thank you thank you. I appreciate that answer.Show Image(http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4147/5063535416_b9ccbcebec_b.jpg)
Some may be engraved. Some are double shots.
