I did see a couple of threads about this mini computer, however I didn't see any thread dedicated to it. I'd like to see all kinds of projects people have personally built and other ideas on how to use this machinery. (Not just what I have used mine for) I built a retro game system with Retropie and I believe I saw someone else do this somewhere on this forum but I want to see other uses for it as well to start some ideas for other uses.
I did this as a surprise present for my brother and he loves it! I didn't even know about the Raspberry Pi until I saw some things about Retropie. I've heard about LCD touch screens and cameras and I think it's amazing some of the things you can do with it since it's pretty cheap considering what it can be.

I love my pi! I have been messing around with mine a lot recently, as I have been learning python too. Right now I have been trying to host my own website from the pi, just for fun really. I am having issues getting the site off of my local network to the real world. :)

Pi has been very useful for me since I bought one a couple of years ago, there are a TON of better options for micro PC's now though. I've been playing around with a PcDuino3 Nano lately, really nice for the price.

I've always liked the idea of the Raspberry Pi.
Although I'm struggling to find ideas for one.
I used to have a small cluster of Dell and Cobalt servers doing various things, and a while back I consolidated into one HP MicroServer.
Since then I've found it difficult to justify having another server, albeit a small low-power server, running to do anything.
The one thing that does interest me is scriptable Minecraft. I tend to play that a lot, and the ability to fairly simply generate levels with a simple API is quite appealing.

Has anyone had any experience with the Vilros case? My experience was so horrible that I docked a star from the package deal I got with the Pi. I tried placing it neatly in and ending up having to get it back out with a butter knife a couple of times and it's still not in there good but all the plug ins are assessable. I've also has some good experience with the Buffalo usb snes controller. Even though it feels a bit light weight the build quality is still there.
