Title: 3 months into using my ducky shine 3, and the first LED blows out.
Post by: singaporean123 on Tue, 13 January 2015, 08:04:28
The number 9 key looks absolutely terrible now due to the blown LED bulb.

Is there any way to rectify this issue?

Not even sure if the store that I bought it from are willing to allow for an exchange due to that one bulb :(

There have been a lot of threads about blown LED's in ducky shine 3 boards lately. Perhaps they had a bad batch of LED's?

Good luck getting it fixed or replaced.

Either get it replaced by the store, or desolder and put in a new one. Isn't too hard

I feel your pain. I semi-recently got a Ducky Shine Mini, and the blue bulb on the L key doesn't consistently work. It drives me crazy, everything is a nice bluish-purple, except L which is glaringly red.

If the keyboard is only 3 months old, it should still be covered by warranty.

Try to get it fixed or replaced by the shop before you even open it.
