I've never seen one of these but here (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Black-Logo-49-Key-IBM-Model-M-Keyboard-SDL-plug-No-cable-Unmodified-/271723372105?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276) it is.
$114 BIN or best offer.

They're not hard to find at all. I got one for slightly less than that I think.
Not many people want it since it isn't practical since those gaps in between the banks of keys make it impossible to use normally.
-
I'd have absolutely no interest in one as the layout seems entirely unusable, but that's me. It's a curious piece, though.
-
Of course, it is really a Model F.
Look at the rust spots on the plate.
Orihalcon should do something amazing with it.

I hadn't seen any prior to finding these. All mine have really low serial numbers, so I'd guess that there weren't all that many produced, and most were probably recycled a long time ago. I think this would be more of an accessory board if you have something like a space saver and want the extra keys available for other things.
I have a posting for these at $100 each on the member to member sales forum if anyone wants to buy one direct, or $130 for those with built in Soarer's Converters:

If you use a converter with this thing which fanpeople did, you could do some cool stuff with it.
Like I mentioned before, a keypad for cursor keys, numpad, and other programmer utilities and such is a cool idea.
Maybe you could program it with links to GIFs... iunno sound like a perfect machine for tp4, except that it's not split.
I'm thinking of maybe turning this thing into a keypad for fighting games. I just got into playing SkullGirls and this would be sweet with that.

One of these would make a good complement to a Kishaver!
-
It is a great accessory board for axillary keys especially as mentioned with an SSK or smaller board.

I always wanted to know how you used your 50 key.
I made this layout (http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/##@@=Print%20Screen&=Scroll%20Lock&=Pause&_x:0.25&f:5%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%97%84%E2%97%84&_a:5%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%96%BA%7C&_a:4%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%96%BA%E2%96%BA&_x:0.25&f:3%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AEsc&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%2F%2F&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A*&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AVol%20Up%3B&@=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AInsert&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AHome&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0APage%20Up&_x:0.25%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF1&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF5&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF9&_x:0.25%3B&=7%0AHome&=8%0A%E2%86%91&=9%0APgUp&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AVol%20Down%3B&@=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%86%96&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%86%91&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%86%97&_x:0.25%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF2&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF6&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF10&_x:0.25%3B&=4%0A%E2%86%90&=5&=6%0A%E2%86%92&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A+%3B&@=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%86%90&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%86%93&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%E2%86%92&_x:0.25%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF3&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF7&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF11&_x:0.25%3B&=1%0AEnd&=2%0A%E2%86%93&=3%0APgDn&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A-%3B&@=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0ADelete&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AEnd&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0APage%20Down&_x:0.25%3B&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF4&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF8&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AF12&_x:0.25&w:2%3B&=0%0AIns&=.%0ADel&=%0A%0A%0A%0A%0A%0AEnter)myself which I want to double as a pad for fighting games.

which I want to double as a pad for fighting games.
Interesting layout, I have to modify mine, the page and paper keys need to all go one to the left so I can use my pinky where the applications key goes. But then put the enter key there. The great thing about Soarers is you can easily change it around.
I use it mostly for navigating information like journal articles and quick access for websites. Fighting games might be the only sort of game it would be suited for, make sure to post pics when you are done. :thumb:

I will if I ever get to this thing. I played SkullGirls with the arrow keys on the left however, so this will take some getting used to.
Worth it for the more optimal layout, though.
Also, if you use F5, 3, 7, and 11 as WASD you can use the 2x 0 key as a spacebar and play FPS games as well I guess.
Although a lot of games wouldn't support remapping, especially to F keys.
