There's a mouse camping out in my room, and I can't seem to drive it out.
I don't want to kill it, so I've set up a paper tube lined with peanut butter set to fall into a bucket. Here's hoping it works.
Naturally I've gotten rid of any food, so I'm not even sure why it's still chilling in here.
Anyone have any other non-lethal ways of dealing with pests?

That's the best way. Make sure to drive it a few miles away for release. Typically, they'll can return from anywhere under 5 miles.

Take a paper towel tube, put something that would be appealing to the mouse on one end.
Balance said tube on the side of something like a desk, position over a bucket/trashcan with high sheer sides.
You have yourself a non lethal mousetrap

I once accidentally killed a mouse in between that crack between the door and the wall (where the hinges are) when i was randomly closing the door to go to the washroom, it was weird.
Also here's a mousetrap you can try if that bucket doesn't work.

Apparently peppermint oil works.

damn, that weirded me out a little bit more than it perhaps should have. it's like the nightmares of getting rid of some creepy doll or something and it keeps showing up by your nightstand or something.
