I have a problem with my Steelseries Kana v2.
When I do a quick jerk, it will sometimes not register the movement properly. In these cases it will even move a little in a random direction.
It feels like it doesn't update quickly enough, and does a "guess" for where I would have moved my mouse.
The problem occurs on both Windows and Linux, so it is not a problem with operating system, it even occurs outside of any games.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? And is it possible to return the mouse as malfunctioning?

hmm. have you tried a different mousepad surface with it?
the sensor should be able to handle a few meters per second speeds, but is quite sensitive to the wrong type of surface.
which one are you currently using it with?

I am currently using a Steelseries qck+, so I would that wouldn't be the problem, though the mousepad is quite old.

oh, no, that should definitely not be it then. there's nothing stuck in the lens / or any scratches on the lens of the sensor?
