I hear you!! You should try setting up all the child deals for a group buy on it.

You are not alone on that. Their site is horrendously slow, and horrendous on mobile.
They use WordPress for the whole thing. WP isn't exactly known to be fast, but it's not that slow. They need to cache more (WPTotalCache would help), or, ideally, rebuild it and use a real framework instead of trying to leverage a CMS :p

That's your DNS doing that. Try replacing your DNS with the Google servers and see if it resolves correctly.
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
You can also try the Level3 servers:
4.2.2.1
4.2.2.2

Getting the normal site.
I would guess there is some DNS discrepancy, probably depending on your ISP / area in the world as Data is getting at. I'm curious where the people it doesn't work for are.
Edit: both me and sidel are in CA. I guess it's not a wide are thing, we just happen to be on different ISP's.

I'm using OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Edit: As of now, it returns a 404.

The only other possibilities are:
- IP Conflict -- on the web? Not at all likely.
- Nameservers issue at the host or at the registrar -- I'd give this one a 10% chance
- Malware browser redirect or something/someone has put a bogus static route in your HOSTS file -- this one is most likely, after DNS
