Title: Corsair RGB K65 - $100.00 + shipping

Like new keyboard for 50 bucks under retail, probably won't last long. I really wanna get it JUST to cannibalize all those awesome clear switch housings from it, but I think I'll wait for a broken board (hopefully cheaper) to go up and let someone get this working one for now.

Pretty much the only reason to get it.

What good are the clear switch housings without the RGB LEDs on the PCB?

But they don't have holes for regular leds....people want them for boards with no backlighting?

NeRD boards also allow for SMDs, and I'm planning on using SMD for my endgame board, so I really need those clear housings. :)

And that specific build is so damn inspiring, it has been a great source to look at for planning my dream build. :b

Why would you want clear cased switches on a phantom? It doesn't have any backlighting.

But there's no LED backlighting on a Phantom.

If we keep saying it will it sink in?

lemme guess, he just wants the excuse to drill into his pcb, add the pads, wire them up, add resistors, etc. He's THE GEEKHACKER of the year if he's willing to change a non-LED board into an LED board and post his build log!

Okay, but if you modify the case with LED's attached to either a Scroll Lock or Num Lock key LED and provide the right resistance and voltage, you can light up the whole case. I am not necessarily looking to light up each key, just make the case glow...sheesh...
