Title: IBM Model M
Post by: Evrycard on Sun, 25 January 2015, 05:51:01
I am not sure if this is the right place to post:
Two of my keys are not responding very well. I have to press all the way down for them to work.
Is there a quick fix for that?

Which two keys?

If you gently shake the board, do you hear any rattling noises?

Then it's probably a bad spring if you are sure that the rivets are okay.

Solved!!!
Pulled a bit on the springs fixed the problem.
They are responding very well now.

Ouch for that solution

Need to be careful that you don't over-stretch the springs.

But good that you fixed it, and thanks for posting the solution :)
