Title: [help] Backplate holes arrangement for TECK 209 vs Ergodox
Post by: possumgumbo on Wed, 28 January 2015, 11:40:53
I am trying to create a keyboard of my own, and would like to have the columnar design of the Truly Ergonomic Computer Keyboard (TECK 209/ TECK 229), which suited my needs ALMOST perfectly.

I am unsure if the vertical stagger of each row of the Ergodox is the same as the TECK's. I am referring to the different center lines that the home row follows (A is slightly lower than S, D is slightly higher than S, F is a little lower than D, etc).

If the Ergodox has the same (or extremely close to the same) vertical staggering, I will use a modified version of its 3D print file to create my new board.
Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
