Title: Universal 60% Plate DWG -PCB Stabs. -ANSI/ISO -Poker 2/Pure support available?
Post by: nandop on Fri, 30 January 2015, 17:28:49
I've been looking for any reference to assist me in making an universal plate that supports ANSI/ISO, Poker 2, HHKB, Poker Pure (arrows). 6.25u, 6.5u, 7u, spacebar support.

Can anyone help me please?

So I tried out a layout (which satisfied most of those requirements) with my script, just to see what it would look like.
This was the result:

The biggest problem is the stabilizers holes getting all messed up. The cut-outs here are for costar type.
So it's probably not what you're looking for, but I thought it was interesting.

That is really helpful, thank you! I'll try your software out. I would need to modify the stabilizers.

Why costar stabilizers if I may ask?

I just went with costar for this test because cut-outs for costar are smaller, leaving more of the plate intact. But I could have went with compatibility with cherry or both.
I can see how pcb mounted stabs would be a good choice, but my script doesn't support such cut-outs.
