Post by: tp4tissue on Tue, 03 February 2015, 19:15:11
For 10k, you're getting like 20 bux..

Meanwhile, they take ur money lend it, and make 400-500..

why even have a bank account..

You might as well buy Tbills all year for 4-5%

Stash your federal reserve notes under the mattress.

Tp4's money is all tied up in ramen right now..  wouldn't fit under mattress..

Ramen futures are going up. Buy low, so you can sell high. It looks like there will be a storm that destroys most of the ramen crops this summer...

Because credit card are usefull, and it's hard to pay anything online without a bank account.
And because very few company will pay your salary cash.
That's the reason why I kept my money in the bank. I serioulsy considered going out of the bank system a few years ago.
And I guess, It's somehow safer to have money in bank, rather than cash in the yard.

They do make 400-500 with your money as you said, but they also carry greater risk from default / bankrupt borrower
I am the kind of guy who grow my business with bank credit, and I've to say I carry all the risk since I'm the one who run the business
Yet all they do is risk assessment, supply the fund, collect the interest rate

but again in the other hand, I need them to grow rapidly....
trade off in the economy I guess
