Title: Need Someone To Assemble My Custom
Post by: cannonking on Wed, 04 February 2015, 10:00:23: I'm getting a Duck Octagon (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=65036.0 (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=65036.0)) soon and need someone in Europe to assemble it for me. Preferably someone in Europe who has a lot of experience with consistent lubing and can do a consistent trampoline mod. I'm not in a rush so I don't mind waiting a few months if need be.

Trampoline mod uses silicone balls inside the switches, not orings. And they last a long, long, long time. Also, most rubbers used for orings last a lot longer than a year... They slowly lose oils and dry out and toughen / become more brittle, but there are some VERY old rubber dome boards still functional. Also, Topre switches use rubber domes and they last, well.... very long.

I'd prefer Europe, but I'm not opposed to sending it to America. Looks like I might have to with the replies here :(.

You'll definitely be able to find someone on deskthority to assemble it. The user base there is pretty much entirely European
