So it's just a bent plate, basically?
I could go for one in polished stainless. Think about doing one with 9 holes, 3x3.
Any ideas on cost? I would be tempted to pick one up for the right price.
With the tool swill released, I think it's easier to just get it cut for yourself.

Would totally depend on the amount of people who ordered. I would like to do it for less than a fiver for one unit though.

At $5 each I'd buy 2 at least.
I say that you should look into a switch cutout that can fit both MX and ALPS switches. You won't be able to have notches, however that shouldn't matter for a tester/lube station.

What shape hole can hold MX and Alps switches?

The one on the left. :)
Cool! I'll look into making a CAD file then.

Yeah, the ones from Swill's plate building tool with that shape should work just fine for both MX and Alps.

Swill says thatShow Image(http://builder.swillkb.com/static/images/switch_type_1.png)this type would also work for alps. Is he right?

Yes, that's what I was trying to say, but I guess I wasn't very clear.
I might be up for one if it could hold Alps switches :) . Already have a Cherry tester unit... What sort of shipping costs to the UK would this come down to roughly, you think?
Ah, if you're in the UK, that'd be very useful :) . Have you got a loose Alps switch that you could try it on?I might be up for one if it could hold Alps switches :) . Already have a Cherry tester unit... What sort of shipping costs to the UK would this come down to roughly, you think?
I'm also in the UK so shipping should only be a couple quid or possibly even free. It should theoretically hold alps but it's using swills cutouts and some users have had issues putting alps on them.

Cheers mate, let us know - matiases should be representative enough for sure :) .
Only just saw this thread, I'd be totally interested as well (depending on price obviously).
I would be 100% interested in grabbing one of these. I find it to be much more difficult to swap springs when the springs aren't attached to anything. It was much easier to do when they were soldered into my Phantom.
Hi interested in 2 or 3.
Cheers
I'd also be interested in a 3x3 tester.
I'd definitely be interested in a 1x4 or any combination really, though I'm located in the US so it wouldn't be worth the overseas shipping at that point :P
Did you mean to link to your spreadsheet in the interest check a few posts up? The one in the OP links correctly to the Google survey.
Interested depending on price &shipping costs to US.
