Well, I've lurked long enough, so I figured it was time to make an account.

I'm quite new to the mechanical keyboard scene and in fact used geekhack as a resource when trying to decide what keyboard I should purchase. I ended up settling on an Kul ES-87 with MX Blues, the lack of LED's on it was a selling feature for me. Currently however I'm typing this on an old (win-keyless) Cherry G81-1800, which I am enjoying strangely.

I look forwards to learning more from you all, and hopefully contribute something back after helping me to pick my kul.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Very popular keyboard, the KUL.  It seemed to just appear, and then everyone was raving about it.

The Cherry 1800 series are also popular.  In what strange way are you enjoying it?  Or maybe I don't want to know that much detail :p

The feel, the MY switches are kind of a nice change once in awhile. I do however need to do some work on that keyboard. Not even sure if its possible on that keyboard, in fact it may just be the USB adapter that I have to use with it right now, but I'd like to try and find a way to fix the key-rollover issue that I seem to have with it. I can only hit 2 keys before the first keys input is lost.

Oh, an MY keyboard!  There doesn't seem to be a lot of love for those around here.  Nevertheless, there are some who do like them :)

Are you sure they are not 2kro keyboards?  Might not be a solution to that, if they are ...
