Title: MX Blues with what spring?
Post by: ManicMatt1125 on Thu, 05 February 2015, 11:58:11
Hi, I have searched and have not found a definitive answer. I am trying to simulate MX greens. I have the option of getting blues with 55g, 58.5g and 62g springs. My question is which spring choice will most likely replicate MX greens?

I think they've got 80g springs? You want those.

None of the options you listed will be anywhere close to being like Greens.

Edit: Sprit says his (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=55888.msg1258674#msg1258674) 85g springs are close to being the weight of MX Clears. And 100g is close to MX Grey which have the same spring as MX Green.

Get Green springs? :P

But seriously, you want MX Heavy springs (Blacks, Greens, Clears)

Also what CLiB said. Ghetto Greens are MX Blue Stems with MX Heavy springs and they're pretty close to Greens imo. If I didn't find stock MX Greens, I would've put Ghetto Greens in my KMAC.

hmm, This is for a GON board, I am hiving it pre-assembled so those are my only options, aside from me buying the springs separate and doing it myself ( which won't happen as I don't have the time) Thanks for the answers, I guess I will go with the 62g

If they are 62G korean springs, they will feel like regular Blues...

if they are regular 62G springs, they will feel slightly heavier than normal Blues...
