Title: Purple Rain MX Keythulu Giveaway - New Years Resolutions

I've had this guy hanging around for a while and have no plans to put him to use (purple doesn't match my only MX board). Since I got him from a giveaway, I figure it's time to pay it forward!

(White balance looks funky, but that's only because I had to correct my terrible on-camera balancing. It's a tough color to capture, but I think this picture is about as accurate as it gets. It's a milky purple with tiny flecks of glitter that are difficult to see without looking closely.)

TO ENTER:
It's been a month since New Years; to enter please write a quick blurb about how your New Years resolutions are going. Bonus points for honesty, no cheaters! (If you didn't make a New Years resolution, feel free to include something else you're hoping to accomplish in the rest of the year)

I'll leave it open for a week (will close on Lincoln's birthday, 2/12, at 5PM EST) and then pick at random from the entrants.

Additional details:
- I'll cover shipping within the US, International I'd prefer if you paid
- One entry per person
- 25 posts (from anywhere on GH), registration on or before 1/1/2015
- Weighted towards people without a Bingecap

My new years ressie is to do the exact same thing I did last year, kill weights at the gym, get paid to poop at work, and crush brews like there's no tomorrow.

My New Years resolution was to perform better in school, since I will be looking for colleges soon, and I have raised my GPA from a 3.5 to about a 3.75, and my math grade is above 100. I have to take an AP exam later this semester for programming, which I have started studying for already. I have been looking for binges to buy since his last sale since I decided not to buy anything (kicking myself), but no one seems to want to sell theirs :-(

My resolution was to write an awesome lesson plan everyday for each of my classes.  Much better than writing crappy lesson plans, or any at all. 

So far, I have done it everyday for all 4 different classes everyday, and have even gotten the principle finally on my side and received some nice feedback for it :)

Students are also doing better and having more fun with better structured lessons!

My New Year's resolution was to work out harder and cut back on smoking and frivolous spending. I am doing a decidedly poor job at all of those. The only artisan caps I have are XMAS Ravens from HKP, so a BingeCap would be awesome!

My new years resolution was to continue to feed my mechanical keyboards hobby. I've been trying my best, and I think it's going really well! I've gotten some keycaps from really new crafters, but I've always wanted a Bingecap. I've talked to him before and he seems SUPER friendly, and he also has a lot of common interests with me. That's why I want to enter, because I hope to own something he's made. Good luck to everyone, and I hope whoever wins it enjoys it! Also, thanks for doing this giveaway. Even if I don't win, it's still awesome to help out the community like that. Keep up the good work.  :thumb:

So far I have managed to stay at those resolutions, running everything at the native resolution of the respective monitor.

My New Year's Resolution was to lose the 25 pounds I gained over the previous year - due to some medical things I had to remain pretty inactive

Thankfully, the Physical Therapy I'm in now is improving my symptoms, and as an added bonus, has even kickstarted the weight loss

So while I am still 22 pounds shy of my goal, I see no problems with losing the rest of the weight as my back and leg are, finally, on the mend

My resolutions were to get a 3.5 GPA or higher this semester in college, boulder a V5 by spring break, and be more active in my classes. So far my GPA is great and I've been a lot more active in my classes. But I haven't been climbing much or training so... I really need to work on that.

I had a goal to acquire at least one BroBot, think its close since Ive had some offers that was in the right area. But the road has been long
Also had a resolutions to get a more stimulating job. So far been to two interviews, one that was even higher pay and the other seemed a lot more fun.

The only thing I can say for sure is that once my "display case" is finished Im going to hold a giveaway of my own. Probably not with as high quality stuff as a Keythulu but at least its something :)

I gave up energy drinks and drinking soda, but that ended up not working out two weeks into 2k15 bc i crave the juice whenever I'm stressed. I've been pretty stressed on my job search grind, but it's no big. I have to stop making excuses to indulge, bottom line.

I also made a resolution to stop sleeping at ungodly hours, but due to me not giving up my caffeine addiction, it's been a slow grind. Although, I am working hard at it in my own way. My gf got me a jawbone so I could track my sleeping after she saw improvement in her sleep with the one I got her for Christmas.

What a life I lead in the spring,

My resolution was to get back into shape. I haven't exercised in about 2 years.  Did my first run yesterday.  7km ,  walked a bit here and there. Now I just gotta keep at it!

My new year's resolution was to get out more and try to be more social. I went to the recent Bay Area GH meetup and plan to go to the next one too, so I think I'm doing pretty good with that so far.

I didn't make a New Year's resolution, as I never really make them anyway. And I did give up smoking at the end of September, which I have kept up with which I am proud of.

My aim this year is to get bigger. I've always been quite skinny, and throughout the last 12 months I have been going to the gym on and off. Started because my girlfriend broke up with me, then we got back together and I stopped going. Then I started again, and stopped and yada yada yada.

But now I'm back. I've started new sessions with a PTI I have become friends with, and I've got a holiday coming up in May, and so far I have been going to the gym 5 days a week, and I can already see changes. It's going well and I really hope I can feel comfortable taking my shirt off in Portugal this summer.

My other aim this year is to buy myself a first house. Me and my GF have been talking about this for ages, and we've finally got enough of a lump sum to put down a deposit. I'm really hoping we find a place before the end of the year, but we should be in one by the end of summer ideally :D

That's my sob/hope story. I haven't got a Binge cap yet, and I believe it's the only high profile artisan make I haven't got yet :) (Also, I think it will go well with my Ducky Mini)

My new years resolution for 2015 is to get down to 220lbs, wear a size 40 pants, and to be able to one pull up.

I actually reached the size 40 goal WAY earlier than I expected. Christmas of 2013 I was wearing a size 46 pants and they were snug, on January 2nd I purchased 2 pair of 40's and they fit well :D

The 220 goal is coming along nicely, im down 2lbs since Christmas (this may not seem like much but I do a lot of lifting and do not focus on weight loss). I am currently at ~235

I have NEVER been able to do a pullup, my big goal is to be able to do at least one. Pull-ups target your lats mainly (and many other groups for extra help), below are a few of my lat exercises and their increases;

As I didn't make any resolutions this year (a big move will hamper any other thought apart from surviving the move... and then another move), I'll pass. But like others, I just want to say this is super cool of you. I had a few of these (all of which found new loving homes!) and they're wonderful caps.

I didn't have a New Year's resolution but I guess I'll set one now: to collect as many artisan caps as possible! Having joined this community not long ago, I've found a hobby that has kept me busy the last few months and I hope to contribute in one way or another. I will shortly receive my first artisan cap that I purchased from another GH but would love (especially since I didn't win anything from Bro Blackout sale) to win my first one.

Well it's kinda of a late resolution (made after midterms/end of second quarter), First quarter was smooth, good grades etc, second quarter I slacked and pretty much winged my midterms. Realized I screwed up big time and gotta get back on track. Also, less betting on csgo and less playing during the weekends. Self control.\

I didn't really make a resolution but I think that at some point this year I need to buy a soldering iron and figure out how that works so I can make fun keyboard mods.  :p Mostly, I just need to work on school though.

My new year's resolution was to get a new job.  Surprisingly this was achieved at an interview on the 13th of January having prepared scripts for it, rather than relying on my honesty and improvisation skills as I have for the last 5 which I did not get a job from.  I found it depressing how easy it was to bulls**t the interview, it explains how so many crap people come and go from my workplace...

That leaves me going back to last year's resolution - stopping biting my nails.  I'm nearly there but still find myself doing it while thinking.  Which I have to do more in my new job :-X


Thanks for a rare opportunity pr0ximity, I have no Bingecaps and am happy to cover shipping.  Purple should look good with black and I'll always have a black keyboard.

My grandma will be coming to live with me this year and I will be taking care of her for the rest of her life. She was born in 1926 and is in the stages of alzheimers. She has a strong body though, I expect her to still live a long while. On a lighter note I am also refinishing my window sills and painting the basement.

Never had, don't have and never going to have any new year resolutions. I'm making my resolutions whenever I realize that I need some. No matter if it's christmas, new year or any day of the year.
My newest resolutions is: Stop harvesting old caps from Cherry Vintage boards and finally start participating in GMK groupbuys!
I don't want to have mismatched modifiers and Capslocks anymore. It's time for some Hyperfuse GMK and GMK Mod Packs !!!  :D
I don't have any bingecaps. This Chutulu would make a perfect start and a perfect match to the Hyperfuse set, and to be honest ... who doesn't hail Chutulu ?!

Didn't really make a New Year's Resolution per se, but I've started cooking and I'd really like to keep that up and see where I can take it. Also, a goal this year is to actually do some exercise :)).

Some keyboard related goals are to mod my Filco with a custom controller and to build my first custom, probably a Korean TKL (like the TX87).

Thanks for doing this giveaway pr0x! I am not Bingeless, but I've always wanted a Keythulu and I have no purple artisans (which is my favorite color). GL all!

Well my new years resolution was to create more art this year (aka make sure to do something that makes you happy). So far I have been involved in a few large shows in Chicago and purchased some heavy duty equipment to start my own keycap production. Next few months will determine how much I am going to follow my resolution, but it is going well so far.

My new years resolution is to try to help others more through random acts of kindess. The following acts would be small due to what I can afford. So far, I have donated two gift cards to people on /r/randomactsofpizza , I have given eggs to my neighbor so she didn't have to go to the store, offer to watch peoples' dogs for them, I have helped push a stalled car out of the road, and have bought coffee for the car behind me a couple of times. I know they're little things, but little things are what make people happy.

New years resolutions is to pass my math class(weakest subject) this semester and next, so i can transfer to a university. So far it's going well, other resolution is to bench, squat, and deadlift 2x my body  weight  for 1rep max :-\
