Title: Hi from Holland!
Post by: yogrt on Sat, 07 February 2015, 03:40:19
I'm a metalworker from the Netherlands that loves well made technology and just ordered my first serious keyboard (Happy Hacking Professional 2 PD-KB400B) minutes before I found this ridiculous :thumb: forum!!
Glad to have proof I'm not the only one spending more on hardware (mostly tools and machines) than food  ;D so for good measures I also got a fresh trackball (elecom M-XT1URBK)to go with the HHKB....
Anyway so far I really enjoy stumbling around in this forum and I'll get bak as soon as my new toys are delivered and I start modding.

Mazzel, Yogrt

Welcome to Geekhack!

Just wait until you spend everything on keyboards and keycaps, and stop eating!

Welcome to Wallethack ;)

Thank you,
nice forum here so far!
Not so afraid of keycaps; I've got (http://www.yogrt.org/fotos/testmachines.jpg) and more machines, so as soon as I'm done moving and I've got the workshop set up again, I will make my own keycaps   :D

That's quite impressive!

And I have absolutely no idea what it is :))

This is an old school metal milling  machine, I mostly used it to mod car and motorcycle engines, but in factories it was often used to make molds for anything plastic etc.

Ah, in that case it sounds like a very useful device to have around if you plan to make keycaps!
