Not familiar with model m, but this look pretty cool.  Shipping is very expensive though..

It's been posted a few times before, but I think this is the first time it's close to reasonable territory.  It's been $150-200 with shipping in the past.

I think this is a rubber dome keyboard. Someone else may be able to confirm.

I think this is a rubber dome keyboard.

It has been my experience that 71x and 72x Ms are rubber dome, and the 1-piece keys will not work on buckling springs due to non-hollow stems.

I asked him how much it would be for just the keycaps, and he said that the shipping would stay the same $87.53 to the USA, but that the item price would be free, so basically $10 less...  I thought it would more like $30-$40 in shipping by only shipping the caps, but apparently not.

If it was going the other way, the small flat-rate box from the US will hold a set of Model M keys (that is how Unicomp ships them) and I think that the international rate is about $25, and International Air Mail is usually about 2/3 to 3/4 of that amount, but their post may be different.

If this is a rubber dome M, the keys will be useless for a buckling spring IBM keyboard.

Got this one for the opening bid from the same seller, this one should be buckling spring:

Part number is nothing special, but it's missing the escape key cap which shows that it isn't a rubber dome in the wrong case at least.

Shipping was $87.53, but I guess the auction price makes up for it. I think the same seller has listed some of these before, so he probably has access to more if anyone else is looking.

Yeah, that's a 1391401 which is a buckling spring model. Good find.

Thanks, been looking to transcribe the Torah for years now.
