Interesting idea. I am not sure if I may use one as a daily driver due to...

One keyboard trying to be everything for everyone may be hard to sell. Also, the buyer should be willing to pay a premium for not needed features. Its price may be too high as well. Finally, customization is not something this board would shine at.

The logo reminds me of this (http://www.goodkingwenceslas.blogspot.cz/2010/02/uho-univerzalni-hneda-omackauniversal.html). Yup, it's still called "ultimate".

He doesn't explain how he designed it there, just how it was constructed

I do like the split spacebar, Mod and Fn key positions, though. And the fact that it's programmable and can be used either connected as a standard board or split. Even the default layers are really good.
