Title: Will we ever get different Kailh switches?

You know like greens, clears, whites, greys, etc? Or would they be copying Cherry too much then?

Don't see how they could copy cherry anymore than they already have.

Probably in development. I remember seeing someone with a catalog for them, basically saying that they could do any color/actuation force.

I looked for it again, but I couldn't find it.

Kailh are alright. I think people are going wild over Gateron because they made a better first impression, and Kailh really ****ed up when they first came out.

Their switches are intrinsically good, it's just that people don't trust them enough, even with a good backer like Keycool behind them.

Could also be they chose Razer as a partner, another company known for poor quality control?

I'd love to try some clone Clears (the Gateron "Clear" is linear) with 62g springs, especially if they're a lot smoother than stock Cherry ones.

I feel Cherry switch quality isn't that good either. So the existence of competitors isn't bad.
