Title: An idea
Post by: Bromono on Fri, 13 February 2015, 21:18:55
I have been reading a lot on these jailhouse blues. I like how they mention the actuation being closer to the top.

Got me thinking...

Why not jailhouse ergo clears? I'm not a big fan of the click but love the tactile feedback.. Wonder if this is possible.. I must experiment now.

There's no slider to lock in place on Clears like on Blues and Greens.  It couldn't work.

Cherry MX Clears don't click. "Click" refers to a special sound that the switch does on actuation. Of Cherry's switches only blue and green switches click. Switches may emit quieter sounds though.

The sound on bottoming out hard is commonly called "Clack". You can dampen that by installing O-rings.
