Title: how often do you rearrange your desk?

im asking this because, i finding myself rearranging my desk at least once a month. do to more stuff and some how my desk gets cluttered.also dust OMG dust thank you texas.... :))

I have a desk and a drawing table. I really clean my desk about 3 times a year and "re-arrange" it about once every 3 years.

I clean my drawing table about once a week, and "arrange" means piling on whatever I do this week.

In all honesty, I've never once rearranged a desk in my entire life. I set it up once and it stays that way until I move.

I do mine every couple months.  I find it easier to remove everything and clean it up and put it back as I see fit.  My ocd often takes over.

Very rarely.  Probably not as often as I should.

Sometimes I move the crap around a bit on it, but not rearrange the essential and larger items like monitor, keyboard etc.  Just the little things - spare keycaps, nail file, finger wipes, switch tester, tennis ball and so on.

I keep my desks, at home and at work, clean most of the time. But when I have  a lot of work, things piled on very quickly.

I really only change small things on my desk, the big picture stays the same. When I get new things I want to add to my setup, that sometimes necessitates a change.

The only time I rearrange my desk is if I move or when my computer got kicked out of its own room and into a common area and even then that was just to move my rig to face its window to the wall so I don't have to look in there.

About 6 times a year, usually when I rearrange my room, but sometimes I will change which wall it is on if it is in a corner.

This basically...  I'd say I think about it nearly every day because it's a real mess of papers, binders, folders, usb keys, visit cards, post-in notes, pens, coins, and even random stuff like a few Magic the Gathering cards and whatnots.

And about once every four months or so I do really clean and sort everything.  But then in no time it's a mess again : I'd say that in about two weeks it becomes all messy.

Never, I try as hard as I can to mirror my desk at home to my desk when I move to school.

do you mean clean or actually move stuff around?

if by clean, as soon as stuff starts getting piled up it gets sorted off my desk. so maybe once a week.

move stuff around? never.
