Title: Anyone want to help me convert a keyboard?
Post by: Firebolt1914 on Mon, 16 February 2015, 14:38:07
Hey geekhack! As some of you may have seen, I have recently acquired a hall effect keyboard, and i've been wanting to convert it to usb. The only problem is, I'm a total noob at electronics and programming.

If anyone can help that would be amazing. I'll post pictures soon.

Thanks
Firebolt.

Haata and Dorkvader would probably be willing to help you and have experience with HE boards/switches.

OK, after working with dfj and dorkvader, we concluded that the keyboard is indeed 1kro, although what I was thinking is that I can infer that a key is being pressed as there are two outputs per switch. If anyone can point me to resources to learn C (At least for keyboard stuff, I have no clue what I'm doing at all when it comes to programming), that would be amazing.
