Title: Fried Rosewill RK-9000RE with static electricity. Need new controller?
Post by: lupohki on Mon, 16 February 2015, 14:57:41
It's been extra dry around here and i've been zapping things left and right.  My beloved RK-9000RE took a zap that took out the "`1qaz" keys.  Everything else seems to work.  Is this a symptom of just needing a new controller or is something on the main pcb fried?  I saw the thread where someone sold custom replacement controllers.  I had already rescued the RK-9000RE from a loose usb port by hard wiring the cable and I would like to save her again. :)

Yeah, this is a perfect opportunity to make the upgrade.  Black Petal is great.
