Title: [WTB] Northgate Omnikey 101 / Dell AT101 (salmon alps)
Post by: Special K on Mon, 23 February 2015, 12:51:49
I am looking for a Northgate Omnikey 101 and a Dell AT101 (FCC ID GYIAT101-102) with salmon alps.

These keyboards are old and can vary wildly in condition, so here are some specifics regarding what I am looking for:

- tested and working
- feet and rubber pads intact
- no rust
- no frayed/torn cable

Regarding the Omnikey, I have the added requirement that it have genuine complicated white alps switches (also the "smooth" kind, not the "gritty" kind; I realize this is subjective but apparently there are "good" and "bad" complicated white alps switches out there; see this thread for more info: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=54201.0)

you should get an Apple AEK or AEKII with Salmon or Orange Alps.............should be cheaper and a great board

also the Silicon Graphics with Creme Alps is pretty nice

There was a very nice one just up on ebay, and you turned your nose up at it!

You shouldn't waste your chances if you want the true ANSI kind with no bigass Enter.
