Title: G80-8200HPBUS Keycap Compatibility ?
Post by: metafour on Wed, 25 February 2015, 01:35:50: Are the mods and caps lock on a G80-8200HPBUS compatible with modern MX boards? The caps lock looks full-touch but is it center stemmed? The mods are 1.25x but are they center stemmed? It has a big ass enter but that might be easier to find replacements for.

They're all center stemmed however the menu and windows keys are pad printed. The rest of the mods should be doubleshot though.

Thanks. I do vaguely remember that some of the 1.25x mods are pad printed from the set I had previously.

Yeah, such a shame :(

If you wind up getting a set and want to part with the numpad alphas or want to swap for normal ones with sub-legends let me know - I love the cut-down look of the ones on the 8200 boards.

Post by: IvanIvanovich on Wed, 25 February 2015, 12:41:20: Yes, they are fully compatible with other board like Filco, Ducky, Kul, CM, Leopold, etc 87/104 key except the spacebar and some model with US layout still come with an ISO enter key.
