Title: OMG n000
Post by: tp4tissue on Thu, 26 February 2015, 11:22:30

__ Watch in 1080p __

This commercial was banned for objectifying women in UK..

Clearly all the ugly girlz were just jealous...  This commercial was great...

I was 100% captivated...

Didn't even realize what it was selling until the last minute..

I agree  that "relative"  to what it's selling.. the ad was tasteless and almost unrelated..

I think it is silly to ban that ad.. I also think it was a terrible ad, but I didn't mind watching it ;)

I don't know which advert this is, as I'm at work and the tube is blocked. However...

There is a Diet Coke advert (which in the UK is HEAVILY aimed at women) where four women are sitting on a hill in a park, and see a guy mowing the lawn (yeah, in a park) at the bottom of the hill. One of them rolls a can down the hill, which hits the guy's foot. She mimes for him to drink it, so he opens it and it explodes all over his shirt.

So naturally he takes off his shirt (muscly as f) and the women all gasp.

If that's not objectifying men, I don't know what is. Double standards OFCOM? MUCH?

The double standard is alive and well around the world ;)

I think this is one of the best 'banned' ads I've ever seen.

Objectifying? Absolutely.
Ban-worthy? Hardly.

If this kind of ad isn't allowed, then underwear commercials shouldn't be either.

Also, I think the fact that the phone can withstand an iron is a much better selling point :P
