Title: Corsair RGB Appreciation thread!
Post by: ablooga on Thu, 26 February 2015, 20:43:18: One of the few Legendary Keyboards that is a much to have! for regular folk and geekhackers!!!
It has 16.8 BILLION colors to choose from, AND it has media keys and volume rockers!! The media keys also have backlight!
There's really no other keyboards like this and with corsair's amazing build quality it's a must.
I was so excited when i saw it on massdrop I signed up right away!
at 150$ there's not many things that can beat this keyboard atm.

512 and no, they can't do it without a hardware revision. That doesn't stop them from saying that they're working on a software/firmware fix though.

You have to deny, then deny some more, then keep denying until the evidence is incontrovertible. At that point, they downplay the problems while their fanboys back them up. If it still continues, they do a quiet recall or discontinue the product and shift the blame all while people praise their customer service and product quality and they rake in the dough on their inflated prices.

Pretty much, I guess they were counting on Linus to market this to their target demographic and just hope no one would find out.

Are you talking about Corsair or Apple? Based on your description I couldn't decide.

Oh wow, I'm so touched you remember my semi embarrassing story that i haven't told my friend's dog yet.
If her dog found out that i posted this online, it'll result in my dog being really really sad.. but as of right now, our dogs seem to have a liking for one another xD!

I struggled not to laugh out loud. You have forever ruined that phrase for me.

I've used the Kxx series since release day, probably one of my favorite keyboards I've used, hit 140+ WPM pretty often on it if I'm typing something out & not copying! And because I'm not a slave to the public perception of Geekhack, I just bought a blank transparent keyset to enjoy my 512 colours while confusing all computer illiterate people who come to my house. Going to have a Dvorak button to change the layout when I leave, so nobody but me can use it. :thumb:
